My name is Vincent Maton and I'm graphic designer.
Laura Creighton told me that you are looking for
a new logo for Python then I work on the
Python's logo and I do this model :

I hope this logo will interest you.
I like it, but I think that the PYTHON is too small. I also think the
way the I and the O are combined to look like a P is a bit out of
whack -- when you see it as a P it's a P like a child would draw. And
I'm not sure if I can get used to the upside-down Y. But I like the
"style" of the logo a lot. Perhaps you can vary the elements and
present some more choices? BTW I like #11 best as far as colors go.
